Home Page KitchenHome Page Picture of HallA Right Royal Occasion!  The Community Centre was the proud sponsor of the Carnival Queen competition for the 2017 Abbots Langley Carnival.  We renamed this year's competition The Prince and Princess of the Parade.  The competition was opened up to younger children and all those attending school or living in Abbots Langley Parish were eligible for entry.  This year's lucky winners were William and Summer!  The children, each wearing a sparkling crown, rode in a horse-drawn carriage in the Carnival parade around the streets of Abbots Langley, waving to the admiring crowds.  See the parade route here.  You can view the highlights from the competition on our Facebook page @AbbotsLangleyCommunityCentre.

Your Community Centre Needs You!  Volunteers are need by Abbots Langley Community Centre!  Can you help?  Did you know that Abbots Langley Community Centre is a registered charity and run by a team of volunteers?  The Centre is currently looking for people to fill important volunteer roles.  We are looking for volunteer leaders to run a Social and/or Fitness Club for Older People.  The leaders are needed to run or organise weekly social and/or fitness sessions for the club at the Centre.  If this sounds of interest to you, and you would like further information, then please click the CONTACT US tab at the top of this page, and send us a message via the Contact Form.  Thank you!  We are looking forward very much to hearing from you!

Another Royal Announcement!  The Community Centre has taken over the Carnival Queen competition for the Abbots Langley Carnival, which will take place this year on Saturday 10th June.  We have renamed this year's competition the Prince and Princess of the Parade.  The competition closed on 13 May and we are now delighted to announce the winners!  Congratulations to William and Summer, chosen to be Prince and Princess of the Parade at this year's Abbots Langley Carnival!  The children will ride in a horse-drawn carriage in the parade, which will take place between midday and 1.00pm on Saturday 10th June around the streets of Abbots Langley.  See the parade route here.  You can follow further news about the Prince and Princess of the Parade via our Facebook page @AbbotsLangleyCommunityCentre.

Abbots Langley Community Centre offers a fantastic venue and facilities to the local community.  These include a large hall, committee room, refreshment area and kitchen.  There is also ample local free parking for visitors.  The Centre is home to a number of clubs for young people, older people, young families, and people with learning disabilities.  It is the venue for variety of activities, which include keep fit, sport, music, dancing, and early years’ education.

Abbots Langley Community Centre has played host to numerous events over the years: Jigfest, an exhibition of 100s of completed jigsaws; the Tough Ten race, which meets every October, with the Centre accommodating the facilities for racers and its prize-giving ceremony; the Gardening Society Autumn Show, with the Centre housing all the fantastic entries for this annual event; rehearsals and performances by the Abbots Langley Orchestra, and the venue for Abbots Langley Winter Acoustic Concerts.   

Abbots Langley Community Centre is the perfect venue to hire for children’s parties, family gatherings, indoor sports events, committee meetings, training sessions, workshops, exhibitions, or fund-raising events.
