Abbots Langley Youth Project meets on Thursday evenings during term time in the Community Centre's hall. The aim of the project is to provide a programme of social, educational and recreational activities within a safe environment.
Facilities include traditional games such as pool and table tennis, opportunities for artwork and cooking, and modern electronic games. Three Rivers Youth Connexions provides a programme of events that are both educational and entertaining, and which include the use of subject experts.
Membership is for young people aged 13 - 19 years who are resident in the local community. There is a small weekly fee of 50p to cover some of the running costs.
For further information, please get in touch with: Gabrielle Dean, Youth Worker, Three Rivers Team on telephone 01442 454060 or email youthconnexions.threerivers@hertfordshire.gov.uk
