Abbots Langley Parents and Toddlers Playgroup

This local group is a great way to introduce your child to other children, for you to meet other parents and carers, and to make new friends.  Each session has helpers who are there to make you welcome, ensure that the session goes smoothly, and answer any questions.  Please come along and introduce yourself and they'll be pleased to let you know how the morning runs.

The sessions are suitable for children from birth to five years old and run during term time.  The cost is £1 per child and £2 per adult.  Refreshments for children and adults are included in the entry price.  High-chairs are available for babies.

We provide a range of activities and a wealth of equipment including: trikes, scooters, bubble-cars, ride-ons, a climbing frame, a play-kitchen, a train set, arts and crafts, puzzles, jigsaws, a dolls' house, dolls and buggies. We also have singing time, and there is a separate area for babies.

We are a self-supporting group so everyone who attends is encouraged to help with the session.  The group is run by a committee of volunteers which meets twice a term to plan the running of the group and discuss fund-raising and social events.  We are affiliated to the Pre-school Learning Alliance, and the group is a registered charity (no. 1041590).
